- Fire Alarm Systems :
- Monthly: Visual inspections of control panel, power supplies, and batteries.
- Annual: Functional testing of all smoke detectors (sensitivity testing), heat detectors, manual pull stations, notification appliances (horns, strobes), control panel functions, and battery load testing.
- Five-Year: Comprehensive testing of all components, including internal wiring and communication pathways.
- Fire Extinguishers :
- Monthly: Visual inspections for damage, pressure, and accessibility.
- Annual: Professional inspection, weighing, pin checks, and tagging.
- Six/Twelve-Year: Internal examination and hydrostatic testing (depending on extinguisher type).

- Annual: Full 90-minute discharge test to ensure batteries hold charge for the required duration, followed by full recharge.
